Taking inspiration from a broad mix of labels, this imprint aims to provide a platform for the freshest and most innovative of electronic producers. Bringing a brand new take on techno and EDM, The Chef Music is an autonomous label for the masses.
Founded in 2016, The Chef Music was established in London by podcast-master The Chef. “Why ‘The Chef’?” you’re probably asking yourself. Eric, as he’s known in the real world, experienced to live multiple years in Miami, USA. Whilst over there, he wisely chose to become a wiz in the kitchen, instead of a slave to the fast food. Now creating recipes of sounds, the nickname stuck and let’s face it, they’re some tasty beats!
The label’s debut release – Traveling the World – is an eclectic adventure produced entirely by The Chef. Following his relocation to London last year [2016], the label-founder continued his walkthrough to the music industry. City life and inspiration from those around him gave Eric the final nudge to build and release the album he had pondered for years.
