“Using genres crossing folk, americana, pop and rock music, Matthew tells stories through songwriting and composing, and perform’s live around Birmingham, UK.
In 2015, Matthew wrote “Ivy’s Dream Song” – a lullaby for his newborn daughter. The YouTube video went viral, being viewed over a million times. The song has since been recorded and made available as a charity single.
In September 2016, Matthew started working on writing, recording and releasing his debut solo E.P. as an independent musician. The “Let It All Roll E.P.” was released at the end of January 2017 and is available to download or stream on iTunes, Spotify and most other popular streaming services.
Aside from Matthew’s work as an independent artist, Matthew creates instrumental music and short songs aimed at TV and film placement.
Both “Ivy’s Dream Song” and recent release “Queen Of Sheba” have achieved radio airplay on BBC West Midlands and BBC Hereford & Worcester.”
