Passionate Argentinian soul, lives in Laureano’s music.


Laureano’s musical career began in the year 2000 when, along with his first band Claroscuro, they  used to perform classic covers of National Rock and some of his own songs. After three years with that formation he was expecting a band Tributo a Pappo, La 66, where he would play the keys for a year.

 

The last project he’s been involved with was Cabeza Fusa, rock-fusion band with electronic dyes, where he played keyboards and samplers.

 

In mid 2009, Laureano decided to start his solo career, after several years going through various Rock / Pop bands, he started producing independently and recording his songs in his private studio to release an EP called “Mañanas rotas”, composed by 6 songs. The EP has been presented in various stages of Mendoza, in acoustic formation, including the singer-songwriter cycle “Canciones de-generaradas” organized by Javier Rodríguez.

 

At the end of 2011 he presented his first studio EP, entitled “Colors”, which he recorded accompanied by famous session musicians in Mendoza such as Marcelo Sánchez on bass, Willy Martínez on guitars among others. It was recorded and mixed in Fader Records by Eng. Carlos Beguerie and mastered by Gonzalo Gutierrez in Piriápolis (Uruguay), a Uruguayan bass player and guitarist, who has accompanied the singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler throughout his career. The EP was presented in July 2011 with a show at the Teatro Independencia.

 

At the beginning of 2012, he filmed his first video clip of the song “I’m leaving, but I’ll leave you a flower”, directed by him. He was praised by the press and noted for being a work of great quality 100% made in Mendoza.

 

In June 2012 he performed at the Quintanilla Theatre accompanied by Charly Pereira Moreno on percussion and Pablo Cafici on piano, where the concert is filmed for the edition of his first live DVD, which is still available online.

 

At the end of 2012 he produced the event “A song to hope”, a recital for the benefit of a Carrodilla dining room at the Teatro de la Compañía where he shared the stage with Andrés di Pierro, Los Alfajores de la Pampa Seca and Usted Señalemelo.

 

In August 2014 he was invited to be part of the Festival “Indies del Sur”, playing in Córdoba and Mendoza with Ian Ramil (Brazil) and María Pien (Bs. As.)

 

He shared stages with Ana Prada (Uruguay), Alejandro and María Laura (Peru), Alejo García (Colombia), Vinchenzo (Peru), Audrey Jungle (France), Marcos Luc (Córdoba), Pulpo Montalto, Javier Rodriguez, Facundo Jofre, Sebastián Garay, Willy Martínez, Ivan Procheret, Artemis.

 

He is currently presenting his new album titled “Pinceladas en el alma” which combines musicians from Mendoza with musicians from Uruguay and Brazil. Account with the participation of Ana Prada, Alejandro and María Laura and Goy Ogalde among others.
